In the big park there are many structures:
tennis courts, bowling greens, volleyball and basketball courts
and a wide amusement area for children.
Many different activities are organized
in the village, with performances of the local chorus and band
corps, theatre, shows and expositions.
The highest moment of these shows is
"Sagra dei Santi Angeli" (first Sunday of September),
where all the local associations contribute to the opening of
the refreshment stand with concerts and "dancing evenings".

But Mattarello offers amusement opportunities for
all the year: first of all the excursions in the woods overhanging the
village (ruins of Austrian fortifications, mushrooms research ecc.),
Casteller Park, the possibility of going out by bike on the cycle path
which along the banks of river Adige joins Trento to Rovereto, rides in
the riding ground just outside the village, visits to the aeronautic
museum "Caproni".
Three kilometres far from Mattarello there is
Trento, town of the council, with his beautiful historic centre,
Buonconsiglio castle, the mausoleum to Cesare Battisti and other museums,
the Mountain Movie Show, Feste Vigiliane and the Christmas markets.

Rovereto stays 15 southern. It is a Town
with a great cultural vocation and the seat of Mart Museum.
With 20 minutes by car you can reach
Caldonazzo and Levico lakes, 40 minutes separates you from Garda
lake.
On Mount Bondone you can find the
beautiful Viotte Botanic Garden and his ski slopes.
