How to get to us...
|
Mattarello is a suburb of Trento which is 2 km southern of the town on
the left bank of river Adige, on the slopes of Vigolana Mount.
The
agritur "La Decima" lies to Via della Decima ,
in the historical centre of the village, in a quiet and not much
busy zone 300 metres far from the main square and with river
Stolzano flowing close to it, the stream which crosses the high
part of the village to get into river Adige.
On
the map the green route
indicates the most comfortable way to get to the agritur, while
the black arrows indicate the most quick way, even if
it’s tighter.

Motorway
A22

Main Road SS12

From north (about 10 minutes):
Come out of the motorway at Trento Centro tollbooth
Follow the indications for Rovereto -Verona and leave the town on
the road SS12 (concessionary firm Volkswagen)
Go on south: after 2km you will get to Mattarello
Continue on the main road, cross the rotary in front of the
shopping centre, ahead for about 100 metres and get into the village
turning left at the crossroad where the main road starts going down
Go ahead to the chemist’s , then turn left, going up, and
continue on the only allowed direction in via Guido Poli
After about 100 metres, la street forks: remain on the main road,
turning left, and border the walls of Torrefranca Castle on your right.
Go up the street until you see a rotary, turn immediately right
Going on for about 50 metres, before Caseggiato della Decima you
will find a widening: here rises the agritur.

From south (about 20 minutes):
Come out of the motorway at Rovereto Nord tollbooth
Drive towards Trento on the main road SS12
Cross the centres of Volano, Besenello e Calliano
Just found the road sign of welcome to Mattarello (Vestimenta-Hilton
factory), leave the main road and turn right to enter the village
Turn right again and go up on Via del rio Stolzano
got to the first crossroad , go into Via della Decima (indication
for Valsorda e Vigolo Vattaro)
Just come out of the block della Decima, you will find the agritur
on your right.

OUT
via della Decima is quite narrow, so you could findit more
confortable to get to the agritur from north.
The advice in this way is, as you go into the village, not to
turn at Via del rio Stolzano, but to go ahead north to the
crossroad (chemist’s) just after the little square of the
church.
At this point you should only follow the previous indications
for people coming from the north.

Train-Bus
|
From the station of
Trento (about 30 minutes):
Into the station you can find a ticket office of Trentino
Trasporti where you could buy the tickets for the bus (urban section)
As you walk out of the station, crossed the street you will find
the main bus stop
Catch bus number 8 (38 if it’s a not- working day): it stops
just in the centre of Mattarello.
Just to be sure ask the driver: some runs go on to
Vestimenta-Hilton factory, just outside the village
After about 20 minutes by bus, you will come down in Mattarello,
at the terminal station: from there go on Via Guido Poli and as you get
to the crossroad with Via del Castel, and go into this one
Go on Via del Castel, bordering the walls of Torrefranca Castle on
your right: you will find a rotary where you will immediately turn right
Going on for about 50 metres, before Caseggiato della Decima you
will find a widening: here rises the agritur.
